To Facilitate Public Dialogue and Policy Formation, UNLV Center for Democratic Culture and William S. Boyd School of Law circulate public forum discussions among members of Nevada community, policy makers, scholars, and the media. Wherever possible, the Justice & Democracy Forum proceedings are recorded by a court stenographer, transcribed, and published on the web. Efforts are also made to publish the key segments of each forum exchange in a book format or such outlets as the Nevada Law Journal, Nevada Lawyer, and other professional and scholarly publications. Forum participants are given an opportunity to review the transcripts and make corrections.
